Part 2: Using CUES Online in Your Training Program

This section discusses how to incorporate CUES Online in your training program and how to encourage employees to use it.

So how do you incorporate your new e-learning program into your corporate training curriculum? There is no one method that is going to work for every company. Each company will find success their own way. But we do have some ideas that will help. Most of these ideas come from your peers who have been successful at incorporating CUES Online University into their training curriculum.

The following articles have been developed to help your company realize a great return on your e-learning program. We would like to thank all of our subscribers (those who are mentioned and those who are not) for their help.

The article "How to Use CUES Online University," which first appeared in the January 2000 issue of CUES Online E*News, discusses some of the ways that our subscribers have successfully implemented their e-learning program. This is the article you should read first. It discusses how a commitment from management is the critical item a company must have, not only for a successful e-learning program, but for the success of a continuing education program. It also includes some methods by which your company can successful deploy your e-learning program. To go to the article, click here.

The article "Internal Marketing Can Make Your E-learning Initiative Work,"
which first appeared in the May 2000 issue of CUES Online E*News, discusses how you can promote e-learning through internal marketing techniques. This article helps you encourage your employees to use your new training service. It discusses the three stages of a marketing effort (the launch, internal marketing, and maintenance marketing) and different ways that you can encourage employee usage. To go to the article, click here.

We hope you find these articles helpful. Remember, there is no one method that will work with every company. A majority of our subscribers find that a combination of these methods will work best.  You may have a different approach that will work and, if you do, please tell us about it.

We have tried to make our service the most convenient training service available. Training is vital for the success of a financial institution. With a creative marketing effort and minimum involvement by management, we are confident you will experience success with our program. Once it catches on, managers and employees will realize how easy and effective e-learning can be.

Part 3: Employee Curriculums provides suggested curriculums for your employees. To go to Part 3, click here.
